Take a walk around the uber hip streets of Shoreditch and you can’t miss Hunto’s brightly coloured murals. Originally from Brindisi, Italy, Hunto moved to London’s East End and has been a major player in Shoreditch’s street art scene ever since. Brought up with graffiti and a book of Picasso, Hunto swapped his tags for characters and eventually developed an unmistakable style, full of colour, bold shapes intertwined with human connections that we all recognise and love.
GraffitiStreet joined Hunto onto the famous Brick Lane, dedicated to street art, paste ups and graffiti, knitted between cafes, restaurants, trendy bars and inviting markets. Hunto, with a little help from his friends!, transforms the popular ‘Kinkao‘ wall, bringing some much-needed colour to the dull rainy day. Check out the work in progress below …
