Street artist Dourone promotes Fraternity with his tallest mural to date , Kiev, Ukraine 2016

Street artist Dourone has finished painting his tallest mural of 14 floors high titled ‘Fraternity’, in Kiev, Ukraine for the Art United Us project. Art United Us project unites two hundred artists through mural art and the promulgation of maintaining peace on Earth, and is curated by Geo Leros, Iryna Kanishcheva and Waone Interesni Kazki.

His mural ‘Fraternity’ is about brother/sister hood highlighting three important values which are Respect, Freedom and Diversity. Fraternity talks about human relationships, sharing moments and ideas, being helpful and respectful with others. Dourone believes in our societies these aspects of life are being overshadowed by other aspects like individualism and selfishness. Fraternity is not only for families, in every situation of our life we can all be supportive and treat the other people as we would like to be treated. The colours Dourone chose to paint ‘Fraternity’ with are different tones of blue and orange.
