Eight years ago, paint company Nippon Paint set up a charity platform called ‘ColorWay of Love‘, with the aim to renovate schools in poor regions of Asia, providing children with better conditions to study and therefore encouraging a happier learning environment.
Last year, Nippon invited French street artist Seth Globepainter to lead a school project in Taiwan, with the aim of allowing children in remote and underprivileged areas access to bright, stimulating art. On the back of this success, the charity then entrusted Seth with developing a project which saw fifteen international street artists go back to school in disadvantaged locations across Mainland China from July to September 2016, promoting education and creativity of children.
“The beauty of the world roots in color and shape , light and shade. Unfortunately in some remote and impoverished area, due to the lack of supplies, people see only grey and pale, and dreams are far and unreachable” Nippon Paint ‘Colorway of Love’

“Since the first astronomy records 4000 years ago in China, until today with modern mathematics, we are observing the universe attempting to decipher the cosmic “order” that rules us, convinced of the existence of a deterministic universe where certain laws or gods make things happen in a predictable and predetermined way. While the laws of physics work in our daily life, the more we learn about the universe, the more obvious it is that there is little we know about the fundamental pillars of our reality and that there will always be a limit to our knowledge. This leaves us in a universe governed by randomness and entropy, where mathematics is only a limited set of tools to help us understand an unlimited universe.” Inti
The end result is an explosion of colour and creativity contributing to the imagination of the children attending these schools.
