Awareness and Prevention Through Art aptART are back again with ‘Paint outside the lines’, an international street art campaign, highlighting the importance of inclusive and diverse communities.
This year aptART launched ‘Paint Outside The Lines’ project in Lebanon, working with youth from Syria, Palestine and Lebanon together to paint walls across Beirut and inside refugee camps to promote coexistence, with support from Montana Cans (official).
Paint Outside The Lines, aptART 2017
We last saw them in Lebanon with Ernesto Maranje’s latest mural ‘The Rhino and the Oxpecker‘. Now aptART have teamed up with Kevin Ledo for his latest mural ‘Facing the Future’ in Beirut, the capital and largest city of Lebanon.

“It is difficult to move through the streets of Beirut without seeing traces of war. Bullet and mortar holes scar the walls of neighbourhoods. They are physical reminder of decades of battles between different groups vying for power along ethnic, religious and political lines.” aptART
