Mexico City Rich in World Class Urban Art, 2017

One of the must-do activities any visitor to Mexico City must undertake is a tour of the capital’s world class urban art, that pulls from Mexican history and culture.

Fred from BombingScience went twice to Mexico in September on his way to Peru. Each experience was totally different due to the powerful earthquake, measuring magnitude 7.1, that jolted Mexico city either side of his visits, the city was totally different from one time to the other.

Street art murals exploded in the 1920’s after the Mexican Revolution, artists such as Diego Rivera, Jose Orozco, and David Siqueiros started the muralist movement and Mexico has been embracing art on its walls ever since.
