Paris, a city synonymous with romance, has recently welcomed a new invasion PA_1531. The iconic French street artist Invader has unveiled his latest mosaic, with a message ‘Love from Space’, which showcases his signature space invader character surrounded by pixelated hearts.
This invasion not only adds to Invader’s impressive portfolio in Paris but also resonates deeply with the themes of love and affection that the City of Paris embodies at a time when the world craves more love and connection.

The ‘Love from Space’ mosaic beautifully encapsulates Invader’s unique style, blending retro video game aesthetics with contemporary themes. The red pixelated hearts enveloping the iconic space invader, accompanied by the artist’s heartfelt message ‘Love from Space,’ symbolises how love knows no limits—much like the artist, who has created over 5000 mosaic invasions in cities worldwide. PA_1531 beautifully embodies the theme of love.

Interestingly, a short film titled “Saint-Jacques Gay-Lussac,” directed by Louis Séguin in 2019, was filmed in the same location as Invader’s new mosaic heart piece. This 43-minute film, set in Paris, tells the story of a modern bromance as it follows Jimmy, who returns to his neighbourhood after a breakup, feeling both lost and nostalgic. Both the film and Invader’s artwork explore themes of love on the Rue Gay-Lussac.
