Ador and Semor are two artists from Nantes, France who share a unique vocabulary between them. Ador speaks to us with his playful characters and objects, and enjoys how the viewer interprets his murals in different ways, creating their own story. Semor is influenced by deteriorating buildings, trash and areas in construction. He intertwines these into a labyrinth of distorted objects and lines to create graphic layers for the viewer to individually interpret. Ador and Semor styles are different, however, compliment each other. They both like to promote creativity within the viewer and prompt them to invent their own story from the language they see before them.
Recently Ador and Semor were invited to paint together inside a restaurant in Nantes, France and certainly gave us food for thought. Check out the impressive results below…
We need to book GS a table… the place looks amazing and looks like you are sat inside the story. We just hope the talk of the restaurant isn’t just the incredible artwork!
