Spidertag is a Spanish contemporary urban artist known for pioneering Interactive Neon Murals that combine light, geometry, technology and public participation. Active since 2008, he first explored abstraction and minimalism through temporary installations before developing flexible neon systems that allowed his large-scale works to illuminate architectural spaces. Viewers can interact with selected murals, altering their colours and lighting through digital technology. Spidertag describes his visual language as “Futuristic Primitivism”, connecting ancient symbols and basic geometric forms with contemporary electronic culture. Across murals, immersive installations and studio works, he has developed a distinctive practice that expands muralism beyond paint into light, movement and shared experience.
