Banksy’s “London Zoo” Takeover: Week 2, Day 8 Reveals an Excited Rhino

Banksy has taken over London with a week-long “zoo” takeover featuring animal-themed art pieces scattered across the city. Yesterday we saw a Police box full of Piranha’s, which stood out from his previous works, which mainly consisted of dark silhouette images of animals, including a gazelletwo elephantsthree monkeysa lone wolftwo hungry pelicans, and a wild chained cat, each appearing in various locations across the capital.

Today marked the start of a new week, and many questions were going around. Will another animal be featured today? Will it be a silhouette or something completely different?

Well, Banksy has just revealed the new animal—an intricate stencil depicting a rhino enjoying itself on an abandoned Nissan Micra, complete with a cone on the bonnet! Notably, the artwork masterfully conveys the visual effect of the rhino’s weight, with the car’s rear appearing to be noticeably lowered, adding a touch of realism to the scene.

The announcement of Banksy’s latest animal, confirmed on Instagram, prompts a surge of excitement among Banksy fans as they make their way to Charlton, South East London, to witness a loving encounter between a rampant rhino and an old banger.

Mondays are typically the gloomiest days, but thanks to Banksy’s playful rhino, everyone’s wearing a smile today!
