This year’s Urban Art Festival in Laon, France, organised by Christian Guemy, aka C215, transformed Laon into an open air gallery. Among the show-stopping pieces is a stunning mural by the British artist Sophie Mess, a gigantic floral composition that graces a five-storey residential building and measures an impressive 15 metres by 10 metres.

Sophie Mess’s mural is inspired by the beauty of nature, her floral designs burst with colour and energy, and integrating harmoniously with the urban environment. As flowers bloom ‘ELEURIR’ across the walls, they evoke feelings of freshness and vitality, drawing attention to the often-overlooked aspects of city life.
