Controversy Surrounds Removal of New Banksy Artwork in London

This morning, we spotted a new Banksy piece on a billboard in London. It shows a wild cat, maybe a Panther, clawing through the wooden board; you can see daylight through the wood as the cat scratches through. On closer inspection, we can see the animal is restrained by a black chain around its neck.

We are still at Edgware Road, where a man asserts that he has the authority to remove the Banksy artwork, while locals and Banksy fans insist that it should stay put. Earlier, we had to deter a man wielding a hammer who tried to remove a piece of wood from the artwork. Luckily, he left the hammer and moved on once he saw the crowd shouting at him! Now, it seems like the entire piece might be taken away soon.

The police arrive just in time. However, it remains uncertain whether the mural will still be in place come morning.
