The second edition of Distrito Graffiti Festival has just wrapped up, leaving a colourful trail of graffiti and street artist in its path.
This festival was in Bogota, Colombia. A city already known for its diverse and colourful urban art scene due to the declassification of graffiti from ‘crime’ to ‘violation’ . Bogota’s street gallery consists of global talent, with home-grown and world-renowned artists congregating here to paint.
Distrito Graffiti Festival saw eighteen additional walls painted by national and international artists, curated by Vertigo Graffiti and Pezbarcelona.
Artists invited were; Bio Tats Cru (Usa), Farid Rueda (Mexico), Jade (Peru), Flop (Brazil), Chanoir (France), Spok (Spain), Sabotaje al Montaje (Spain), ElXupetNegre (Spain), Mdc crew (Colombia), Ledania(Colombia), Jota2(Colombia), Vital(Colombia), Laplaga (Colombia), Pez (Colombia-Spain), Atresmanos(Colombia), Wosnan(Colombia) and Gustavo Vejarano(Colombia).
