BLOOP Street Art Festival, an avant-garde art project by BiokipLabs, will officially be taking place from 23rd August to 9th September 2017 in Ibiza.
This celebration of People and Arts is completely free for everybody, showcasing fine arts to new arts such as graffiti, video mappings, cutting edge music, paintings, sculptures, workshops, interactive installations and many more. The festival’s theme is dedicated to CHANGES this year.
Ino, who painted two walls ‘Funk the Power’ and ‘In Search of Sunrise’ on a school in 2016 made a reappearance on the isla Blanca.
The first mural (bottom left) which addressed the bullying issue for the theme NO FEAR in 2016 was censored by the local city council and painted over due to the child hand giving the middle finger!
Despite the censorship INO came back to the party island this year to support the BLOOP festivities and got his hands on another institution to teach us another valuable lesson.
This time the topic INO chose was climate change, due to the festival theme being CHANGES this year.
The mural is a clever piece educating all. CHANGE is needed to protect our planet from the devastating effects of climate change … it effects us all.
Again, INO paints another direct and clear message for all to see.
