MOMO’s artistic journey is marked by his innovative approach to street work, which began in the late 1990s. Utilising Practical Geometry—a technique traditionally employed by masons and carpenters to render geometric shapes—MOMO has developed a unique methodology for creating abstract art. This groundwork allows him to construct intricate, geometric compositions that are central to his murals, including his recent work in Jacksonville.

“A painting for a well done repurposed historic building project, happening near my studio @utwjax. It was great talking with locals walking by. One guy said he knew I was a “bad man” because I paint also at night. No one was needing to know what’s it represents, or is going to be, or what’s the theme. They just thought it looked great, wow.
