ARTSCAPE SAGA is a celebration of storytelling and a dip into mankind’s universal richness of myths and folklore.
During three weeks in May and June (27 May – 16 June 2019) Artscape will orchestrate their most exciting project to date. Artists from all over the world will create large-scale public art in twelve municipalities in the Gothenburg Region in Sweden: Ale, Alingsås, Härryda, Kungsbacka, Kungälv, Lerum, Lilla Edet, Mölndal, Partille, Stenungsund, Tjörn och Öckerö. Each piece will be an interpretation of a classical folktale through contemporary art’s most popular medium: street art.
Argentinean street artist Animalitoland’s mural can be found in Lilla Edet, Sweden.
Her mural is inspired by the Ukrainian story about a boy who loses his mitten in the forest – and all kinds of animals decides to move in!
