The regional town of Benalla in Victoria’s North East has once again been brought to life by beautiful street art murals. On Friday 18th March until Sunday the 20th of March 2016, Australian street artists transformed 15 walls in the small town of Benalla for the 3 day Wall to Wall Festival.
Wall to Wall Festival 2016 is their second annual street art festival in Benalla, curated by Juddy Roller with the support of the Benalla Street Art Committee. The artists came from all over Australia to paint at what has become one of the best destinations in Australia to view high-end contemporary street art. Unique to this year’s festival and something that Juddy Roller hopes to continue was the 50/50 male and female artist line-up.
Wall to Wall 2016 featured artists talks, work-shops, skate demo’s by the Zoo York Skate team, street art tours and of course, artists painting walls across the town.
Benalla now has 28 murals, painted by the likes of Rone, Adnate, Kaff-eine, Lucy Lucy, Smug, Guido Van Helten and many more. Find Wall to Wall Festival 2015 in our previous blog and new murals for Wall to Wall 2016 below…
The festival is now over for this year but if you weren’t fortunate enough to make it don’t despair, watch the wrap up video below by Round 3.
