Banksy Releases 50 Limited-Edition Prints to Support Ukraine
Banksy has released a new limited-edition screenprint to raise money for people affected by the war in Ukraine, just weeks after revealing seven works painted across the country.
Announcing the release on Instagram, Banksy wrote: “I’ve made 50 of these screenprints with all proceeds going to our friends in Ukraine.”
The edition consists of 50 signed and numbered screenprints, each priced at £5,000, with proceeds going to the Legacy of War Foundation, an international charity supporting civilians affected by conflict.
The image shows one of Banksy’s familiar rats clawing through the word FRAGILE, tearing away the first two letters until only AGILE remains, a characteristically simple piece of wordplay about resilience and survival.

Supporting Ukraine
The release follows Banksy’s visit to Ukraine in November 2022, where the artist created seven works in locations affected by the Russian invasion, including Borodyanka, Irpin and Kyiv.
During the trip, Banksy encountered the work of the Legacy of War Foundation, which was providing medical assistance, heaters, fresh water and other support to people living amid heavily damaged buildings.
The charity also lent the artist an ambulance while he was working in Ukraine. Banksy later recalled, “In Ukraine, I saw a Legacy of War team sweep in and provide medical attention, heaters, fresh water and a friendly face to some very desperate people in a bombed-out building.”
He added that the ambulance proved useful after a local woman discovered him painting on her building and called the police. Banksy joked, “I feel the least I should do is raise enough money to replace the number plates on the ambulance I hotted up.”

50 Prints to raise £250,000
Each print is signed and numbered from 1 to 50, with sales limited to one per person. At £5,000 each, the edition could raise £250,000 for the Legacy of War Foundation.
The funds will help purchase ambulances and support vehicles used to assist civilians, including elderly and disabled people and those injured during the conflict.
The print extends Banksy’s intervention in Ukraine beyond the seven murals he created in November, turning a new edition into direct financial support for people living through the war.
