Seth, born Julien Malland, is a French contemporary artist from Paris known for poetic murals centred on childhood, imagination and cultural identity. Emerging from the city’s graffiti scene in the 1990s, he later graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs and developed a figurative practice shaped by travel and collaboration. His recurring childlike figures often appear absorbed by colour, pattern or architectural space, creating moments of escape and reflection within the urban environment. Through murals, paintings, books and international projects, Seth brings local traditions into dialogue with contemporary street art, exploring memory, belonging and the ways culture is carried across generations.
