NeSpoon, the renowned street artist celebrated for her intricate lace murals, recently graced the quaint town of Mirabella Imbaccari in Sicily, Italy, with a stunning mural.

Nestled in the heart of Sicily, Mirabella Imbaccari proudly bears the title of the “città del tombolo”, or the city of bobbin lace. During her exploration of the town’s rich cultural heritage, NeSpoon drew inspiration from the archives at the historic Palazzo Biscari, a former lace school, and the local museum’s collection.

Here, NeSpoon encountered a distinctive ornament known as “riccioli e rose / curls and rose,” and a beautiful doily featuring this motif became the centrepiece of her mural.

NeSpoon expressed her deep gratitude for the warm hospitality extended to her during her two-week stay in Mirabella Imbaccari.
