Mississauga recently celebrated its 50th anniversary with a beautiful land art painted by the renowned artist Saype. Mississauga is Canada’s sixth largest city, located in Southern Ontario on the beautiful waterfront of Lake Ontario.
Saype chose Community Common Park as the site for his artwork, which beautifully embodies the theme of unity and togetherness.

The house of blocks depicted in the artwork represents our planet—a fragile and ever-changing world. Each carefully placed wooden piece symbolises the importance of every individual and every action in building a shared future for Canada.

This ambitious project began in Paris at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in 2019 and has since travelled from city to city with the goal of connecting people from all corners of the globe.
