Bordalo II

Bordalo II is a visionary artist celebrated for his larger than life sculptures made from discarded materials transforming waste into striking works of art that raise awareness, provoke thought and inspire change. His animal sculptures, meticulously created from recycled plastics and various trash found in the areas he works in, serve as powerful commentaries on consumerism and the urgent need for environmental conservation. Each piece embodies an animal and highlights their struggles, living amongst trash when deeply connected to nature, representing a “big trash animal” that symbolically illustrates nature’s presence in a trashed world.

The huge sculptures not only catch the eye but also challenge us to reconsider our relationship with waste and our collective responsibility to protect the planet and the animals.

The “Big Trash Animals” sculptures stand as a statement in addressing pressing ecological issues, urging viewers to engage in meaningful dialogue about sustainability and conservation.
