Spidertag’s Interactive Neon Murals, identified by the abbreviation INM#, form an international numbered series of large-scale neon artworks created directly across architecture.
The project began with INM#1 at ESTAU Urban Art Festival in Estarreja, Portugal, in 2018. Since then, Spidertag has created murals across Europe, North America, South America, Asia and the Middle East, combining flexible neon, geometric symbols and public participation.
Selected murals connect to a mobile application that allows viewers to change colours and lighting sequences in real time. Each work responds to its architectural setting while contributing to Spidertag’s evolving language of Futurism Primitivism.

Collaborating closely with electricians and contractors, Spidertag meticulously brings his ideas to life, fastening flexible neon tubes and shaping luminous LED elements with an artist’s precision. The moment of truth arrives when the mural is switched on: a scene of colour, light, and energy that delivers a deep sense of joy and accomplishment.
Each piece is a living entity, a glowing fusion of symbol, line, and form. In Spidertag’s signature language of “Futuristic Primitivism”, ancient, elemental shapes are reimagined through the vibrancy of neon, bridging the ancestral and the contemporary to create a visual experience unlike any other.

Spidertag’s relentless pursuit of innovation has taken him across the globe, from the sunny streets of Pow! Wow! in Hawaii and Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas, to festivals and urban spaces throughout France, Norway, and beyond. Each mural he creates is a testament to his expansive artistic vision, drawing on a rich range of influences that span constructivism, kinetic art, video games, and cinema.
